Braj Chetna Cowshed (gaushala) is an initiative to safeguard and provide food, shelter and medical care to the deserted cows, bulls, oxen and calves. Being a region dedicated to Lord Krishna, Braj Chetna tries to do all this as per the instruction mentioned in our Vedic literature. As of now, we have many cows and calves which are severely ill, or have met accident in which they have lost their one or more limbs, or are burned by acid, or are blind, etc.

Braj Chetna not only tries to take care of the cows in its Gaushala at Vrindavan, but it also fully supports many other cowsheds serving the same cause in the Braj region, thereby serving more than 2,000 cows every month.
